Autocad 2009 is a popular graphic design software. It is used for modelling, designing, drafting, and detailing of anything related to architecture on either the computer or the paper. With its latest version has come greatly improved user interface, new capabilities and enhanced features like RealSense 3D scanning technology which is now available for both Windows and Mac operating systems. RealSense Technology makes it possible to scan building models with precision using your laptop or tablet screen as the capture surface. Autocad 2009 takes into account digital concepts of CAD (Computer Aided Design) which makes it suitable for everyone who does not want to learn AutoCAD basics but wants something easy-to-use yet powerful enough for professional work too. Autocad 2009 is a very powerful tool specially designed for those professionals who are involved in architectural designing. This software will be specially useful for those people who are not aware of the basic concepts of architecture and designing and want to create and design the models just by drawing or tracing straight lines or curves. This software contains a lot of tools and techniques which will help you to create the models according to your requirement. Autocad 2009 offers its users to create two-dimensional as well as three-dimensional models. If you want to be an expert in architecture designing, then you can use autocad 2009 to achieve this goal easily. You must have installed autocad software on your computer. If not, you can download and install it from the internet. To start designing and drawing, you need to open an existing drawing or create a new one. You can do it by going to the "File" menu and selecting "New" option to create a new drawing or double click on an existing file to open it. The following screen will appear: This needs some explanation as I’ve seen many people using this window incorrectly; they think that they need to design their model over here rather than over there (over there meaning the location of your cursor). First of all, this is a welcome screen so don’t panic. You can change the color, the text size, the background, etc. over here. The work area is not created by this window; it’s created by your mouse movements on your screen. If you click on one of the icons at the bottom of this window (such as “2D DWG Workspace”), you will enter another interface which gives you access to many important commands; but guess what? It doesn’t show you how your current drawing looks like; therefore, I highly recommend saving your current workspace (the work area) before trying to change anything over there! So let me tell you how to create a new drawing or open an existing one. Make sure your Autocad is open and don’t do anything on the welcome screen. Leave it as it is and move your mouse cursor to the top-left corner of this screen. A small rectangle will appear; click on it with your left mouse button once and you will be able to see two options: “New” and “Open”. Click on “New” or press Ctrl+N (to open an existing drawing, you just need to press Ctrl+O). The following window will appear: It shows you all the drawings of both current workspace of Autocad as well as other workspaces created by you in the past. cfa1e77820
